Joy in Deeds (Not really deeds)

A week ago Sunday I gave our small little congregation a short teaching on Works, Deeds, and obedience out of love. Ironically Judy, said to me last Tuesday "Oswald Chambers devotion today (My utmost for His highest) basically said the saem thing you said last Sunday "It is the work that God does through us that counts, not what we do for Him." Look closely at what Oswald is saying. He is basically defining the difference between works and deeds, and places them where they need to be in our thought process and our lives. We cannot 'Earn' our way to heaven, but through Him we will be doing the very things that Christ did. Jesus said "I have come to do the will of my Father in heaven." If we are living and allowing Christ to abide in us then it is only common sense that we will be doing (Works and deeds) His Fathers business as He did and then there will be no 'Works and deeds' in our vocabulary. It It is Christ in us doing what we are called to do. To the true believer they will say "Exactly!" To those who continue to say "No" to the words works and deeds (Fruit in their lives, and the serving of others) then I will simply say "Where is Christ in your life?"
A true Christian will be going about God's business without works, or deeds, because Christ is living and doing in them~
